Rail Fences, Split Rail Fences, or Post and Dowel Fences are an attractive, low maintenance, and economical way to delineate your commercial property line without obstructing your view. Cedar split rail fences are one of most popular and cost effective ways to define boundaries, decorate property, and fence in livestock and horses. Rail fences are very popular on farms and ranches and are also the fence choice of many Colorado HOAs. This type of fence can look as modern or as rustic as you like by choosing the correct material and style. If you need to keep pets in and predators out, you can add a wire mesh to the fence for extra security. For a more modern look, vinyl is a clean, very uniform option that also has the benefit of coming in a variety of colors. If you love a little bit of rustic charm, Split Red Cedar timbers are the path you probably want to take. Split Red Cedar timbers look especially great on large, rural properties.
